About The Team
The University of Cincinnati established a Nationally Competitive club lacrosse team in the 2003/04 season. They are a member of the National College Lacrosse League (NCLL) and have made multiple appearances in the NCLL national tournament, and continue to improve every year. In 2008 the team advanced to the National Championship in Lynchburg Virginia, where they were defeated by Courtland State (New York) and in 2010 the Bearcats made it to the Final Four in Maryland. The team is comprised of a 36 man national traveling roster which requires each player to try-out. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to come out for the team and give it a shot.
UC lacrosse is a great way to meet friends and socialize in college. We are a very competitive team, but our organization goes way beyond just playing a sport. Not only are we lacrosse players, we’re a brotherhood that competes, socializes and gives back to the community. Our club is Nationally Competitive and requires about 8 hours of your time a week. We play about 30 games a year, 10 in the fall and 20 in the winter/spring. All team events, practices and games are mandatory and we encourage you to give this thought before joining the team. The annual deadline to join the team is October 15th, and new players will not be accepted after this date.
