Bearcats Welcome Two New Coaches

The Bearcats would like to welcome two new coaches that will be leading the team during the spring season, Head Coach Chip Glaser and Assistant Coach Dan Gibson.

Glaser was defensive coordinator at St. Xavier High School for 8 years—2 years junior varsity and 6 years varsity.  He has been with several traveling teams on the East Coast showcasing at Division 1, 2, and 3 schools.  Outside of coaching, he has been able to sit on many lacrosse boards which has helped him amass a wealth of lacrosse knowledge. Coach Glaser will be responsible for defensive coaching and strategy.

A two time high school all-American from Memphis University School in Tennessee, Gibson played midfield for the University of Notre Dame from 2006 to 2009. Over the course of his four-year Irish career, Gibson was a three-time monogram recipient, tallying 18 points on nine goals and nine assists. Gibson will be responsible for offensive coaching and strategy.

The Bearcats are honored to have such outstanding individuals help direct them toward their goal of an NCLL National Championship. With their combined knowledge and experience, the Bearcats should be a force to be reckoned with in the NCLL in 2011.
