Moving In A New Direction

The Cincinnati Bearcats have announced the release of former head coach Greg Cardell, who has spent the past two seasons coaching the Bearcats lacrosse team. Coach Cardell will be replaced by former assistant coach Kevin Bissmeyer, as well as former team captain and President Michael Noonan who will share the head coaching duties this season.
Coach Cardell arrived at UC just prior to the 07-08 season, and the teams recent success shows a direct correlation with his arrival and presence on the sideline. During his tenure at UC he led the team to a 29-6 overall record with a Playoff record of 4-2 including the teams first appearance in the NCLL National Championship game. While the 08-09 season ended in a disappointing early loss to Slippery Rock, the team did finish with its most impressive regular season on record.
The Cincinnati Bearcats and all their fans would like to thank Coach Cardell for all his time and effort over the past couple years and wish him nothing but the best in the future.
